(NAR) VOL. III NO. 3 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 1992

[ GTEB MEMORANDUM NO. 92-10, July 22, 1992 ]

AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM NO. 92-10 ON THE MANUFACTURE'S IDENTIFICATION (M.I.D.)

With reference to the M.I.D. requirement under the RP-US Textile Visa Agreement as contained in GTEB Memo 92-10 dated 28 May 1992, please be advised that Guideline #3 is hereby amended and should read as follows:
"3. In cases where the exporter is also the manufacturer of the goods, the complete name and address of the exporter shall be typed after the words "Manufacturer's Identification" or "M.I.D." on the invoice to be visaed."
The above amendment is to preclude the holding of shipments at certain ports where the "M.I.D. — Same as Exporter" declaration had been questioned.

Please be guided accordingly.

Adopted: 22 July 1992
