FINES/PENALTIES FOR IMPROPER DISPLAY OF EXPIRED COMMEMORATIVE/OTHER PLATES AND AMENDING SUBSECTION 11, SECTION II AND SUBSECTIONS 18 AND 19 (C), III OF DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 93-693



Pursuant to the provision of Section 13(c) of Executive Order No. 125 as amended in relation to Section 4 of Presidential Memorandum Order No. 405 dated November 4, 1996, the corresponding provisions of Subsection 11, Section II and Subsections 18 and 19 of Subsection C of Section III of Department Order No. 93-693 re “improper display of/Expired commemorative/other plates” are hereby amended to read as follows:

II.          OTHER FEES AND CHARGES:
“11. Recording Fees:
a. Recording Fee for motor vehicle per year — P300.00
b. Recording fee per piece of commemorative plate — P30.00
III. FINES/PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF LAND TRANSPORTATION LAWS:
“C. VIOLATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH NUMBER PLATES AND STICKERS:
“18. Violation of Rules and Regulations on Commemorative Plates
P300.00
Improper display of Regular Plates to have better display of Commemorative Plates
P500.00
19. Expired Commemorative/Other

Plates
P500.00
Illegal transfer of Commemorative Plates
P1,000.00
Illegal Use/ Use of Commemorative Plates without prior authority
P2,000.00

The corresponding fines for any of the above violations on commemorative/other plates shall be imposed upon the owner of the motor vehicle.”
This order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after receipt of copies thereof by the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR), U.P. Law Center, Diliman, Quezon City and publication thereof in a newspaper of general nationwide circulation.

All department memorandum orders, circulars, and other administrative issuances in conflict with this order are hereby deemed revoked, amended or revised accordingly.
