[ NTC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2-1-95, January 16, 1995 ]

UNAUTHORIZED OFFERING, MARKETING OR THE USE OF ANY COMMUNICATION SERVICE



Pursuant to Commonwealth Act. No. 146, as amended, (Public Service Act), and Executive Order No. 109 series of 1993, the National Telecommunications Commission (Commission for brevity) hereby reiterates that the act of offering any communication service without authority from the Commission is in violation of these existing laws. Any person, firm, company, association or agency offering, marketing or using any and all call back, dial back or any similar services not otherwise authorized by the Commission is hereby directed to cease and desist from any of the above or related activity.

Any person, firm, company, association or agency found violating this circular shall be dealt with in accordance with law.

This circular shall be published in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation and at least three (3) certified copies thereof shall be filed with the University of the Philippines Law Center.
