THE STEWARDS REPORT AS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STEWARDS



Please be informed that the Philracom Board in its meeting held on April 26, 2002, after due deliberation, resolved to amend Section 8.3.E and 8.3.F(9) of the Rules and Regulations on Horse Racing which will now read as follows:

SECTION 8.3.E          Stewards in Session. — The Board of Stewards shall remain in session and shall not adjourn after the last race of the day, until its report on the conduct of horse races held in a Racing Club shall have been X      X         X            X         X         X        X         X         X  transmitted by fax, e-mail or any other means of communication to the Commission and to the other Racing Club and a copy furnished to the assigned Philracom Field Officer at the end of the racing day.

SECTION 8.3.F          Powers and Duties of Stewards. —

9.         to have a written report (Stewards’ Report) on the conduct of races and unusual incidents immediately after the end of the racing day.  The stewards should check the report carefully before signing it.  This report shall be the responsibility of the stewards who signed it.

The above shall take effect 15 days after publication.
