[ SRA CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 9, S. 1996-1997, November 05, 1996 ]

EXTENSION OF APPLICATION FOR EXPORT TO FILL UP THE SECOND QUARTER U.S. SUGAR QUOTA FOR QUOTA YEAR 1996-1997



Section 5 of Sugar Order No. 2, Series of 1996-1997, dated 15 October 1996 is hereby amended with the extension of the deadline of application for export to fill up the U.S. Sugar Quota for the Second Quarter of Quota Year 1996-1997, from 31 October 1996 to 15 November 1996.

Likewise, for the purpose of transparency, it is hereby published the names of sugar exporters with their corresponding verified volumes of sugar to be exported as their allocations for the said Second Quarter shipment, whose applications for export had met the 31 October 1996 deadline, to wit:

The aforementioned exporters shall be the one to undertake the actual shipment of the sugar using the same quedan-permits as verified by the SRA, otherwise, the SRA shall forfeit the allocations granted these exporters in the event other parties shall do the export using the said verified quedan-permits.

The remaining balance of 30,746.14 M.T. of the total volume of sugar allocated  for the Second Quarter shall be pro-rated among exporters who shall apply within the said extension period.

This Circular Letter shall take effect immediately.
