VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS BY POLO-CYPRUS
On 01 October 2007, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Cyprus has commenced the verification of recruitment documents of Cyprus principals and individual employment contracts of household service workers (HSWs) bound for the country. The POLO has started verification of the individual employment contracts for HSWs with entry visas/work permits issued after 01 October 2007.
In this regard, all documents of Cyprus principals and individual employment contracts of HSWs should be verified by the POLO in Cyprus in accordance with the POEA Memorandum Circular No. 14.
For compliance effective immediately.
