INVENTORY OF SEIZED/ABANDONED RICE SHIPMENTS



Submit within seven (7) days from receipt hereof an inventory of seized/abandoned rice shipments in the custody of your respective Ports, indicating therein the volume, carrying vessel, country of origin, consignee, date seized, apprehending unit, and violation, together with a report on the status of each shipment/case.

Please note that seized/abandoned rice shipments shall be deposited in accordance with BoC-NFA MOA in a NFA warehouse for safekeeping until its final disposition.

Also, please be reminded that to protect the interest of the parties concerned, including government's, seized/abandoned rice shipments that are still under the custody of the Bureau of Customs may already be disposed of by public auction, pursuant to Sections 2607 and 2610 of the TCCP, subject to other applicable laws and regulations.

Be guided accordingly.
