REIMPOSITION OF IMPORT RESTRICTIONS OF BELGIAN PRODUCTS COVERED BY AO 23, SERIES OF 1999
In view of the latest Brussels Post report on the discovery of a more widespread Dioxin contamination in Belgium, the ban on Belgian products as stipulated in AO 23 is hereby reimposed.
This ban will be in effect until an appropriate decision is reached by the European Commission and officially transmitted to the Philippine Government.
Further, AO 24 is hereby amended to allow for PCB analysis only in the case of milk and milk based products, eggs, egg products, and fresh poultry meat and derived products as stipulated in EC Decision 1999/449/EC.
