[ GTEB MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 91-06, March 13, 1991 ]
RE: MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 91-04
The Secretariat has been receiving inquiries in relation to the provision of Memorandum Order No. 91-04 dated 07 March 1991.
To clarify issues, said Memorandum Order is just an amendment to Section III (10) of the GTEB Rules and Regulations and provides for non-imposition of penalties on shipments without Textile Export Clearance (TEC) of specific items for the first time.
It is understood that shipments without TEC of items other than what are specified in Memorandum Order No. 91-04 is subject to a minimum fine of P1,000.00 but in no case shall the fine exceed ten percent (10%) of the FOB value of the goods exported.
Please be guided accordingly.
