[ NTC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 15-9-92, September 30, 1992 ]

AMENDING MC 11-8-92 DECENTRALIZING THE PROCESSING AND ISSUANCE OF THE NEW RADIO OPERATORS CERTIFICATE FORMS



In line with the thrust of this Commission to speed up delivery of its front line services specially in the issuance of the New Radio Operators Certificate Forms, MC 11-8-92 is hereby amended as follows:

1.      Applications for new/renewal/revision of radio operator certificates may be filed and processed in the different Regional Offices of the Commission.  The Regional Offices shall, on a weekly basis, forward to Central Records Section of the Commission a list of applicants for Radio Operators Certificate with the following required data prior to release:
  1. Name of Applicant;

  2. Type and Class of Certificate being applied for;

  3. Date and Place of the examination(s) taken; and

  4. For New/Upgrading of Certificate, Date and Place of Examination of the Lower/Previous Certificates should also be included.
2.      The Central Records Section shall then verify/validate each applicant record from the Master List.

3.      Applicants whose records found in accordance with the Master List shall be forwarded to ROTSD for assignment of corresponding Permanent Registration Number who shall forward the same to Regional Office concerned for issuance of corresponding certificate.

4.      Applicant whose records found not in accordance with the Master List shall not be issued with corresponding certificate.  However, Regional Office concerned shall initiate appropriate legal proceedings.

This Circular shall take effect immediately and shall supersede or amend any Circular, Order, or Memoranda which are inconsistent herewith.
