[ BOC CUSTOMS MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 52-2009, December 10, 2009 ]

AMENDING CMO 37-2009 ENTITLED “SUBMISSION OF E-MANIFEST THROUGH VALUE ADDED SERVICE PROVIDERS (VASPS) AND IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES FOR CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 1-2007”



CMO 37-2009 is hereby amended by adding paragraph 4.4.1.4 as part of the provisions thereof on “Manifest Amendment”,  to wit:
“4.4.1.4 All amendments of the e-manifest should be cleared  by the Office of the Commissioner, before it could take effect in the POM and MICP. In all other Ports , to avoid unnecessary delay in the release of the shipment and in the interest of trade facilitation, the shipment may be released upon the written approval of the Deputy Collector for Operations, however all such approved amendments and the reasons thereto must be reported to the Commissioner on a weekly basis under tentative liquidation pending clearance from the office of the Commissioner.”
This Order shall take effect immediately
