EXECUTION/ENFORCEMENT OF MARINA ORDERS/DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS/DIRECTIVES IMPOSING ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTIES/FINES



Erring maritime enterprises/persons have been reportedly ignoring or deliberately disregarding the Orders/Decisions/ Resolutions/Directives of this Authority, penalizing them for violations of maritime laws and/or rules and regulations.

In view of the foregoing, the following activities are hereby directed to be underaken:

1.  MLAO and FO shall prepare inventory list of decided cases which have remained unsettled, copy furnished EO and the various MARINA sectoral offices. Said Offices shall likewise cause the drafting of letters for the signature of the Administrator or his OIC, addressed to the companies or parties concerned, advising them that no applications filed by them shall be entertained or given due course unless and until their accounts/ liabilities are settled.

2.  EO shall continuously monitor by Itself or in coordination with FO and MLAO incidents of the subject nature, by also verifying when the Orders/ Decisions/Resolutions /Directives were received by the parties involved and the same became final and executory. It shall assist the two Offices in causing the personal service of the aforecited letters.

3.  The MARINA sectoral offices shall not accept applications filed by those companies/persons affected by the inventory list above stated unless clearance is issued by FO or MLAO, as the case may be.

Strict compliance herewith is enjoined.
