We furnish you herewith a copy of the above resolution approved by the Board of Commissioners in its 271st Regular Meeting on 10 March 1999, which is a consolidation of six (6) sets of Guidelines on Plan Review and Approval previously approved by the Board including the amendments thereto.

The Regional Field Offices, Field Operations Support Group and Executive Services Group are hereby enjoined to ensure the dissemination of the above guidelines to the local government concerned.

Approving Volume IX, Plan Review, Adoption and Approval Process, of the Guidelines for the Formulation/Revision of Comprehensive Land Use Plans, Fifth Revised Edition
BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Guidelines for Plan Review, Adoption and Approval Process, which includes:

1. A consolidation of six (6) sets of guidelines for the plan review and approval previously approved by the Board, to wit:

1.1 Review and Approval Guidelines for Component Cities and Municipalities;

1.2 Review and Approval Guidelines for Highly Urbanized and Independent Component Cities;

1.3 Review and Approval Guidelines for Metro Manila Cities and Municipalities;

1.4 Review and Approval Guidelines for Provinces;

1.5 Interim Review and Approval Guidelines for Local Government Units Without Approved Comprehensive Provincial Land Use Plans (for Component Cities and Municipalities); and

1.6 Interim Review and Approval Guidelines for Local Government Units Without Approved Comprehensive Provincial Land Use Plans (for Highly Urbanized and Independent Component Cities)

2. Amendments/changes to the above, to wit:

2.1 Requirement of submission of an enacted zoning ordinance rather than a draft zoning ordinance for the review process;

2.2 Prescription of a simplified fact sheet form for provinces, component cities and municipalities, highly urbanized cities and independent component cities; and

2.3 Prescription of a separate fact sheet form for cities and municipalities of Metro Manila; and

3. Provision of general guidelines common to all LGUs at various review and approval levels.

BE APPROVED AS THE SAME ARE HEREBY APPROVED as Volume IX of the Guidelines for the Formulation/Revision of Comprehensive Land Use Plans, Fifth Revised Edition.
