[ PRC BOARD OF GEODETIC ENGINEERING RESOLUTION NO. 4, s. 1994, August 02, 1994 ]

SYLLABI FOR THE SUBJECTS IN THE GREODETIC AND JUNIOR GEODETIC ENGINEERING LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS

WHEREAS, the Commission has issued these policies and directives on licensure examinations: (1) Memorandum Circular No. 8, Series of 1992; (2) Res. No. 265, Series of 1993, (3) Memorandum Circular No. 93-03, Series of 1993, and (4) Memorandum Circular No. 93-04, series of 1993;

WHEREAS, Section 17 of RA. No. 4374, "The Geodetic Engineering Law", provides the subjects in Geodetic Engineering licensure examinations and empowers the Board to prescribe other subjects;

WHEREAS, a syllabus for a subject will not bring about overlapping of subjects and will accordingly guide the Board members, examinees, and reviewers; and

WHEREAS, the Board had consulted the academe before its prescription and adoption of syllabi for examination subjects,

No. 4374, the Board hereby RESOLVED, as it is so RESOLVED, to prescribe, adopt, and promulgate the syllabi for the subjects in the Geodetic and Junior Geodetic Engineering Licensure Examinations (Annex "A").

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution upon its approval by the Commission shall be effective on a date which is fifteen (15) days after the publication thereof in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation and within three (3) months prior to the examination.

FINALLY, RESOLVED, that this Resolution be widely disseminated and circularized to all colleges/schools offering the course of geodetic engineering.
