WARNING TO SEAFARERS ON ROBBERY CASES ON BOARD
There have been reports from Dutch principal and their Filipino crew of robbery cases on board vessels operated by organized "gangs". About 3 robbery cases have already been reported.
You are therefore enjoined to reiterate this warning to your departing seafarers and advise them to keep only enough cash for personal needs with the rest of their salary immediately remitted to the Philippines.
