[ BFAD (DOH) MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 16, s. 1994, July 15, 1994 ]
CLARIFICATION ON ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 29-A, S. 1994
In order to provide specific guidelines to supplement A.O. 29-A, s. 1994, the Bureau of Food and Drugs hereby promulgates the following:
D. 5.1.4 (b) on Complete Formulation shall now read as:
Complete formulation of the finished products must be presented in ranges (except for restricted or active ingredients).
D.5.1.7 shall now read as:
BFAD will Issue a Certificate of Product Listing (CPL) within thirty (30) working days from the date of filing with the validity period of one (1) year from the date it is deemed listed. Listed cosmetics shall be given Cosmetic Listing No. (CL#) which will be reflected on the packaging label within three (3) months from the issuance of CPL.
Product listing will cover all new applications filed beginning July 20, 1994.
This circular shall take effect on 20 July 1994.
