SYSTEM AND PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION OF CERTIFICATE OF PRODUCT LISTING AS PER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 29-A, S. 1994



Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 29-A, s. 1994 regulating listing of cosmetic specialties In order to ensure the quality and safety of cosmetic supply in the country, the following system and procedure for application of Certificate of Product Listing (CPL) is hereby adopted as follows:

1.  Acceptance of application for listing of cosmetics with complete requirements as per A.O. 29-A, s. 1994 at the Public Assistance. Information and Compliance Section (PAICS).

2.  Pre-screening of submitted documents at the Product Services Division (PSD) – Cosmetic Section.

3.  Payment of listing fee of P55.00 per product.

4.  Final evaluation of documents by PSD.

4.1
All qualified applications will be Issued a Certificate of Product Listing (CPL) within thirty (30) days from the time of acceptance by the PSD.
4.2
Products may be marketed once the application for listing has been stamped "ACCEPTED", by the PSD pending the issuance of the CPL.

5.  The Certificate of Product Listing (CPU) is valid for one (1) year and renewable annually upon payment of P55.00 as renewal listing fee.

6.  Applications received starting July 20, 1994 will be evaluated and if qualified for product listing will be categorized accordingly.
