PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFLUENZA A(H1N1) IN MARINA



Notice is hereby given that MARINA shall be implementing a screening program for the prevention and control of Influenza A(H1N1) to all persons who have transactions/official business with any of the Offices/units of the Agency, including all its visitors. The screening program shall include the following procedures:

1. A digital thermal scanner shall be used to check all persons entering the premises of MARINA;

2. Person/s with temperature of 38 degrees and above shall not be allowed entry and re-testing shall be undertaken after 10 mins;

3. If the temperature remains high, the concerned person shall be advised to leave the MARINA premises and to proceed to a medical clinic;

4. All visitors shall be required to fill-up an Influenza A(H1N1) questionnaire/checklist containing information on recent travel to country or place affected by the virus, recent contact with confirmed or suspected influenza A(H1N1) case and affliction by symptoms such as fever, cough, difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath, vomiting or nausea and diarrhea.

Cooperation of all concerned are hereby enjoined.
