[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 14, May 31, 1999 ]

PAYMENT OF LIENS ON SUGAR IMPORTATION UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER (EO) 87, SERIES OF 1999, AS IMPLEMENTED BY ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER (AO) NO. 20, SERIES OF 1999



WHEREAS, the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) has been mandated by AO No. 20, series of 1999, to facilitate the collection of payment of liens on sugar importation under EO 87, series of 1999, upon application for conversion and clearance;

WHEREAS, in order for the SRA to effectively facilitate collection of said payment of liens by the importers of sugar under said EO, there is a need to define the payee and/or trustee of each lien to be paid;

NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the power vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1. The following liens, pursuant to AO 20, series of 1999 shall be paid by importers to the agencies stated herein as payee and/or trustee, to wit:

SECTION 2. A Circular Letter shall be issued as implementing guidelines in the remittance of all liens held in trust by the SRA pursuant to this Order.

SECTION 3. This Sugar Order shall take effect immediately.

SECTION 4. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to this Sugar Order are hereby revoked, amended or modified accordingly.
