[ VRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 99-002, August 27, 1999 ]

CLOSURE OF VIDEO ESTABLISHMENTS FOUND TO HAVE POSITIVELY VIOLATED THE PROVISIONS OF P.D. 1987 DURING A SEARCH WARRANT CONDUCTED ON THE AFOREMENTIONED ESTABLISHMENT(S)



Pursuant to Board Resolution No. 99-07-157 which was passed by the VRB Board of Directors during its regular meeting held on July 26, 1999, the penalty of immediate closure shall be imposed on the following establishments found to have positively violated the rules and regulations of P.D. 1987 in a search warrant operation(s) conducted against the stated establishments.

For Non-registered video establishments — Permanent Closure

For Registered video establishments — 20 days closure

This circular shall take effect 15 days upon its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
