IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BOARD'S COLOR CODING SCHEME FOR PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES IN ALL REGIONS
In view of the efforts of the Board to rationalize the public land transportation sector through the implementation of the public utility vehicles and in accordance with the objectives of the Public Service Act as well as pursuant to the powers and functions vested upon the Board by Executive Order No. 202 creating the LTFRB, you are hereby authorized to implement the Color Coding Scheme within your respective jurisdiction. The scheme, in general, calls for the assignment/adoption of specific color(s) by the concerned units plying a given route.
In the light thereof, you are directed to undertake the necessary steps so that the aforementioned scheme is implemented. Further, you are likewise directed to submit to the Board a progress report on the implementation of the subject color scheme until such time as the project has been completely implemented.
This Memorandum Circular takes effect immediately.
Adopted: 10 Apr. 1991
