AN ORDER MODIFYING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF DOTC ORDER NOS. 97-107 AND 98-1127



In the interest of public service and to ensure order in the operation of public transport conveyances, Item 8 of DOTC Order No. 97-1097 and Item 10 of DOTC Order No. 98-1127 are amended, as follows:

DOTC Order No. 97-1097

a.      Tourist Transport Services

It shall include services, such as, Tourist Shuttle Service, Tourist Metered Taxi, Tourist Coupon Taxi and Tourist Chartered Service.

Fare:        Rates as approved by LTFRB and receipted in case of tourist metered taxi.

DOTC Order No. 98-1127

10.    Mega Taxi

Vehicle Type :

Asian Utility Vehicle (AUV), Van

Route :

No fixed route within the region of application.  The same shall be painted on the body of the vehicle such as "Region III Operation"

Fare :

Minimum rate plus fee per unit distance and unit time as authorized and as measured by duly calibrated taxi meter

Upon effectivity, the LTFRB shall commence modification of subsisting franchises and appropriate Certificates of Public Convenience (CPC) shall be issued.

This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation or filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 11 dated 09 October 1992.
