[ PHILRACOM NOTICE, November 25, 2002 ]

AMENDMENT BY ADDITION TO SECTION 11.2 — MEDICAL CLEARANCE BEFORE RIDING AGAIN



Please be informed that the Commission in its meeting held  on November 18, 2002, after due deliberation resolved to amend by addition Section 11.2 of the Horseracing Rules and Regulations, which will now be read as follows:

SECTION 11.2   MEDICAL CLEARANCE BEFORE RIDING AGAIN. —

b.       After securing a medical certificate from a PHILRACOM Physician the jockey shall then present the aforementioned certificate to the PHILRACOM’s Regulation & Licensing Division (RLD) and pay for the corresponding clearance certificate fee of P100.00

c.       Only after the submission of the medical certificate and payment of dues to the PHILRACOM shall a jockey be allowed to participate in the races, provided also that the jockey shall have submitted the necessary clearance certificates to the racing clubs concerned on ‘declaration‘ day.

This rule shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication.
