(NAR) VOL. IV NO. 1 / JANUARY - APRIL 1993

[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 93-001, February 15, 1993 ]

NOTICE OF HEARING TO AFFECTED OPERATORS FOR PUJ REGIONAL CASES

The Board after its deliberation on the above subject and taking into consideration the views expressed by the twelve (12) LTFRB Regional Managers in their respective Memorandum that notice to affected operators may be dispensed with for PUJ Regional Cases on route/s that is/are open, hereby adopts as a matter of policy that applicants need not furnish the affected operators on the routes applied for, where the RMC is open.  The application should, however, be still published once in a newspaper.

The determination of whether the route is open should be based on the result of actual survey made and declared as such by the Regional Managers in their respective area of jurisdiction.

In this regard, the public shall be reasonably notified of the list of route/s to be opened and the number of units needed in the particular route.

This Memorandum Circular pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11 dated October 9, 1992 takes effect fifteen (15) days from the date of filing with the UP Law Center and supersedes any provision of any existing Memorandum Circular or Board Rules and Regulations which are inconsistent with the same.
