AMENDMENT TO MEMO CIRCULAR NO. 92-001 AND NO. 92-010 ON PROVISIONAL AUTHORITIES

<DIV ALIGN=JUSTIFY>February 19, 1993

In order to give the affected operators on lines, where Provisional Authorities to operate were previously issued by Regional Managers, the opportunity to pursue their oppositions, the Board, after exhaustive deliberations with its Regional Managers in a Conference held on February 11-12, 1993, hereby resolves to amend Memorandum Circulars No. 92-001 and No. 92-010 dated January 30 and December 7, 1992, respectively.

Accordingly, the said memorandum circulars are hereby amended so that Provisional Authorities previously issued thereunder shall be deemed automatically cancelled/revoked the moment the applications filed become contested, in which case, the Regional Managers shall immediately order the grantees of Provisional Authorities concerned to cease and desist from operating their units involved.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days from filing hereof with the U.P. Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992, and supersedes any provisions of any existing Memorandum Circular or Board rules and regulations which are inconsistent herewith.
