ADDENDUM/ERRATUM ON THE DECLARATION OF MORATORIUM/NON-ACCEPTANCE OF PRIVATE EMISSION TESTING CENTERS' (PETCS) APPLICATION IN SPECIFIC SERVICE AREAS BASED ON RECOMMENDATION OF DTI REGIONAL DIRECTORS



In accordance with DAO 07:2004 "Declaration of Moratorium/Non-Acceptance of Private Emission Testing Centers' (PETCs) Application in specific Service Areas based on recommendation of DTI Regional Directors," attached is the list* of addendum and erratum of service areas covered by moratorium/non-acceptance of PETC application.

All applications received after the cut-off date shall only be processed for accreditation only when it meets the requirements stipulated in the last paragraph (d) of BPS Memorandum Circular 12:2003.

In connection with the declaration of moratorium, DTI Regional/Provincial Offices are mandated to conduct a review and evaluation of the effectivity of moratorium in their respected area of jurisdiction or responsibility after one year of its implementation and recommend to the DTI Secretary thru BPS whether to maintain or lift the moratorium in their respective areas.

This Department Administrative Order shall take effect fifteen days (15) after publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
