RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RULES ON MAIDEN RACES TO ALLOW MERGING OF GROUPS AND CATEGORIZATION OF GROUPS ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF STRAIGHT CLEAN LOSSES



The Philracom Board resolved to approve the following amendment, by addition to the Rules on Maiden Division races to take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication:
1.11 If the entries are lacking, Maiden Division (1A) may be merged with Maiden Division (1B), and Maiden Division (2A) may be merged with Maiden Division (2B), respectively, with the following additional rules:

a. Horses belonging to the higher Maiden Division shall carry additional 2 kgs.

b. Purses for the winners and placers of the merged group shall be that for the higher group even if the winners/placers belong to the lower Division

c. Winners of said merged Divisions shall be considered as having won in their respective natural Maiden Divisions and go to their respective Winners Division as per Rule 1.6

1.12 If there are sufficient entries, horses in the Maiden Division shall be categorized in accordance with the number of straight clean losses so that those with the most number of clean straight losses shall be grouped together.
