TRANSITORY GUIDELINES TO BE ADOPTED IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MEMO CIRCULAR NO. BGC-MC-99 286 DATED 27 OCTOBER 1999 RE: DRUG TESTING OF PROFESSIONAL DRIVER'S LICENSE HOLDERS



To liberalize the implementation of drug testing for holders of professional driver's license pursuant to A.O. BGC99001 dated 23 February 1999, the following are hereby adopted:

For the period covering 16 November to 31 December 1999, all holders of professional driver's license applying for renewal thereof may be temporarily accepted even without the required Drug Test Certificate. However, the card type license will not be processed and/or their Temporary Driver's License or the Driver's License Receipt (DLR) will not be extended unless he/she submits the Drug Test Certifi­cate.

All orders, memoranda in conflict herewith are deemed superseded.
