(NAR) VOL. 16 NO. 2 / APRIL - JUNE 2005

[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2005-016, June 27, 2005 ]

PENALTY FOR WRONG ADDRESS FOR PURPOSES OF RELEASE OF FARE MATRICES

For the information and guidance of all concerned, all fare matrices shall be released and delivered to the addresses on record of the registered operators.

In case the Fare Matrix is not delivered to the operator due to the transfer of address without notice to the Board or the Certificate of Public Convenience has already been sold to another but the same is not applied to this Board, a penalty in the amount of Five Hundred pesos (PhP 500.00) shall be charged before the Fare Matrix is released. In addition thereto, the operator concerned is given a period up to 26 August 2005 to file the necessary Manifestation or Application for the above purpose; otherwise, the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 2003-031, dated 19 November 2003, with Three Thousand Pesos (PhP 3,000.00) as penalty, shall apply.

This interim program is being implemented for social consideration to bring about faster delivery of services and immediate compliance of operators to Board's requirements and, once and for all, cleanse LTFRB records.

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith, and takes effect immediately following the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.

SO ORDERED.
