[ LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO.611-2005, May 30, 2005 ]

GOVERNMENT MOTOR VEHICLES ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE THREE (3) YEAR CTPL



In view of the refusal of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) to issue Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) valid for three (3) years, government motor vehicles covered by Administrative Order No. 010-2005 and Memorandum Circular No. 575-2005 shall not be required submission of 3-year CTPL in the initial registration. They have to renew their GSIS insurance yearly, and submit yearly CTPL to LTO district office where the motor vehicle was initially registered.
