[ BOC CUSTOMS MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 7-2008, February 14, 2008 ]

AMENDMENT TO CMO NO. 17-2005 ON THE MORATORIUM ON APPROVALS TO ESTABLISH/OPERATE OFF DOCK CY-CFS, CUSTOMS PUBLIC/PRIVATE BONDED WAREHOUSES, COMMON BONDED WAREHOUSES AND OTHER NON-MANUFACTURING BONDED WAREHOUSES/FACILITIES



Section 4 of the Customs Memorandum Order No. 17-2005 is hereby amended to read, as follows:
"Section 4. The moratorium shall not cover however, applications for the establishment and operation of Customs Bonded Manufacturing Warehouses pursuant to Sections 2001 to 2004 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines as amended, as well as applications for accreditation as member of an existing Common Bonded Warehouses and applications for registration of qualified end-user clients of existing ICBWs pursuant to CMO 39-91 and CAO 7-2002/CAO 7-2003, respectively, provided that the applicant manufacturing firm is NOT engaged in the importation of any type of RESINS as raw materials."
All Orders, Memoranda, Circulars, or parts thereof which are inconsistent herewith shall be deemed repealed and/or modified accordingly.

This Order shall take effect immediately and shall last until revoked.
