(NAR) VOL. IV NO. 3 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 1993

[ LTO MEMORANDUM, June 25, 1993 ]

NO CHANGE OF OPERATOR'S ADDRESS ALLOWED THROUGH MANIFESTATION IN FAITH WITH RE-CALL ORDER TO ALL FICTITIOUS ADDRESSES MADE

It has been observed that many operators coming from the south have caused to change address purposely to evade inspection of their units at the South MVIS.  This trickery manner of changing address and using fictitious ones is a manifestation of a deceitful intent to circumvent the provisions of Memorandum Order No. 92-563 and its implementing guidelines directing operators north of Pasig river to have their units inspected at the North MVIS and operators with addresses south of Pasig river at South MVIS.

Such changes of address must be stopped and Memo Order No. 92-563 should strictly be enforced.  Pilot District Office shall not accept any manifestation of change address unless such address is incorporated in the franchise or order.  All previous changes of address made through manifestations in bad faith are ordered recalled to original and correct address or face the consequences of being apprehended and impounded when checked.

This takes effect immediately.

For strict compliance.

Adopted: 25 June 1993
