PENALTY FOR ILLEGALLY ACQUIRED PULL-TIGHT SEALS AND LOSS OF TAXI OPERATOR'S CALIBRATION BOOKLET



In view of the number of incidents reported to the Central Office regarding the illegal acquisition of pull-tight seals, the Board hereby imposes the following graduated penalties against operators whose taxi unit/s is found to have an illegally acquired pull-tight seals:

 

First Offense P 1,500.00
Second Offense P 3,000.00 plus 30 day suspension of CPC
Third Offense P 5,000.00 and Cancellation of CPC
 

Insofar as the loss of Pull-Tight seals, the following penalty scheme shall be imposed:

 

First Offense P 1,500.00
Second Offense P 3,000.00
Third Offense P 5,000.00
 

With regard to the loss of Taxi Operator's Calibration Booklet is concerned, the penalty of One Thousand Pesos (1,000.00) shall be imposed.

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith, and takes effect immediately.
