RECKONING DATE OF THE SEVEN (7) DAYS WITHIN WHICH TO REGISTER THE MOTOR VEHICLE



Administrative Order Number 83AO-D1R-001 on the rules and regulations governing the issuance and use of motor vehicle conduction stickers provides that the conduction stickers attached to a motor vehicle shall be valid until the same is sold and delivered to the end-user who must register the same within seven (7) days from the date of delivery.

In the best interest of public service, the following dates shall be the reckoning dates of the seven (7) days within which the motor vehicles should be registered to avoid penalty:

1. new imported motor vehicles - date of the Certificate of Stock Reported (CSR);
2. rebuilt motor vehicles - date of the single (unitized) CSR;
3. locally manufactured motor vehicles - date of the CSR;
4. used imported motor vehicles and vehicles acquired through BOC public bidding-date of the CCES; and
5. brand new motor vehicles covered by AO 010-2005 on the initial registration scheme for brand new motor vehicles valid for three (3) years - date of the CSR.
