STANDARDS FOR WRITTEN AND PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS



In the best interest of the service, the following passing scores for the written and practical examinations are hereby reiterated for the observance of all concerned;

1. written examination

Non-professional DL

30 correct answers out of the 40 questions

Professional DL

45 correct answers out of the 60 questions

Conductor's License should be able to answer the 25 questions in 40 minutes

2. Practical examination-The passing score is 70. Refer at the back of the Application for driver's License (ADL)

The applicant has 100 points at the start of the test. Corresponding points are deducted for errors committed. The driving skills being rated, the total points and the equivalent weights are at the back of ADL which should be accomplished by the driving skills rater while the practical examination is ongoing.

Be guided accordingly.
