[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 02, S. 2012, March 16, 2012 ]
NEW GUIDELINES ON THE DEPARTURE OF AU PAIRS FOR EUROPE
Pursuant to the issuance of the new Guidelines on the Deployment of Au Pairs to Europe, the processing and documentation of the travel exit clearance of Filipino Au Pairs to European countries shall be through the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) starting on 16 March 2012.
However, au pairs whose documents were verified by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) on or before March 15, 2012 will be processed by the POEA until 31 March 2012 under existing procedures and requirements.
POEA issuances/policies inconsistent with this memorandum Circular shall be deemed repealed.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately. For strict compliance.
