REITERATION ON THE REQUIREMENT OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE NHIP FOR ACCREDITATION OF PROFESSIONAL



This is a reiteration of PhilHealth Circular No. 22, s. 2001 requiring all health care professionals applying for accreditation to become members of the NHIP. As provided for in Section 59.k of the IRR of RA 7875 otherwise known as the National Health Insurance Act, a health care professional must be a member of NHIP before he can be accredited. A photocopy of the PhilHealth Identification Card together with the validated ME5/RF1 for employed members or M15 for individually paying members should be submitted.

Provisions in the existing guidelines which are not inconsistent herewith shall remain in force and in effect.
