[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 35, August 27, 1993 ]
NEW MINIMUM WAGE IN TAIWAN
Effective 16 August 1993, the Taiwan government has raised the monthly minimum wage of workers to NT$ 13,350 from the previous rate of NT$ 12,365 per month.
All participants in the Special Hiring Program for Taiwan and all others concerned are hereby enjoined to strictly adhere to the new minimum wage as of the date of its effectivity.
