WAIVER OF PDOS CERTIFICATE IN CERTAIN AREAS
As part of the package of incentives for Hall of Famers and Awardees of Distinction, effective immediately, agencies and entities who are recipients of the awards shall be exempted from the new procedure requiring submission of PDOS certificates of attendance, jointly issued by POEA and accredited NGOs, for processing of employment contracts.
The same requirement may be waived for special cases involving workers scheduled for immediate deployment or other circumstances that may warrant the exemption. However, compliance by the agencies insofar as ensuring actual PDOS attendance of the workers shall be strictly monitored. Agencies found to renege on their responsibility shall be meted with appropriate sanctions.
