NEW TUG ASSISTANCE RATES AT THE PORT OF GENERAL SANTOS



After a series of public consultations with the Shipping Sector and the Tug Assistance Operator since 1999 and in view of the final agreement reached and confirmation thereof for an increase in tug assistance rates at the Port of General Santos during the Port Management Advisory Council (PMAC) meeting held on 07 November 2002, this Office hereby formalizes the agreement for the increase of the tug assistance rates of P350.00 across the board per category on a per movement basis, as follows:

Further as agreed upon, the new tug assistance rates shall take effect 15 November 2002.
