[ PPA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 04-2010, April 08, 2010 ]
AMENDMENT TO ITEM 7 OF PPA MEMORANDUMCIRCULAR (MC) NO. 23-2009 (MANDATORY WEIGHING OF CONTAINERS AND RO-RO VEHICLES)
In view of the request for clarification as to the financial obligation required by the Authority in the weighing service operation, Item 7 of PPA MC No. 23-2009 is hereby amended to read, as follows:
- The CH Operator using the PPA-owned weighbridge facility is required to remit to PPA a government share of not less than 10% of their gross income derived from the weighbridge operation plus rentals of the facility.
- The CH operator using its owned weighbridge facility is required to remit to the Authority a government share of not less than 10% of their gross income derived from the weighbridge operation.
All other provisions of PPA MC NO. 23-2009 remain valid.
This amendment, however, should not prejudice any existing agreements on weighbridge operations that the CH operators forged with the PPA.
This Circular takes effect immediately.
