WHEREAS, Board Resolution No. 2004-03 on the “Adoption of Philippine TVET Trainer’s Qualification Framework (PTTQF) was promulgated by the TESDA Board during the 41st TESDA Board Meeting on 05 August 2004;

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the BR No. 2004-03 to align the units of competencies to the qualification level for trainees as: I-Trainer/Assessor; II-Training Designer/Developer; III-Training Mentor and IV-Master Trainer;

WHEREAS, during the 42nd Standards-Setting and Systems Development (SSSD)- TESDA Board-TESDA Secretariat Committee Meeting held last 21 December 2009, the Committee favorably endorsed the enhanced Philippine TVET Trainers Qualification Framework;

WHEREAS, during the 71st EXCOM-TESDA Board Meeting on 11 March 2010, the Standards-Setting and Systems Development (SSSD) Committee agreed to recommend for approval the aforesaid amendments to the Philippine TVET Trainer’s Qualification Framework (PTTQF);

WHEREAS, the PTTQF, series of 2009^*, is herewith annexed and made an integral part of this resolution;

WHEREAS, in the 74th TESDA Board Meeting on 8 April 2010 at 3:00 p.m., the TESDA Board considered and approved the amendments to the Philippine TVET Trainer’s Qualification Framework (PTTQF);

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the TESDA Board in its meeting today, 08 April 2010, 3:00 p.m., approves the aforementioned amendments to the Philippine TVET Trainer’s Qualification Framework (PTTQF). This will serve as the basis for the development of appropriate Training Regulation (TR) per level and the corresponding assessment and certification processes.

BE IT RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution and the amended Philippine TVET Trainer ’s Qualification Framework (PTTQF) be published and disseminated to all concerned.
