[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2006-013, February 06, 2006 ]

MODIFYING AND AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR 2006-005 (VOLUNTARY SEGREGATION OF AUTHORITY TO OPERATE A UNIT FROM A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE)



In order to further elaborate and avoid misinterpretation, item nos. 2 and 9 of Memorandum Circular 2006-005 are hereby modified and amended to read as:

2. The Program shall only apply to PUJ, taxi units, Vehicle for Hire, School Transport, Shuttle and Filcab services.

9. After segregation, CPC(s) granted to the Second Party shall reflect the old CPC number with assigned corresponding suffix numbers, i.e. NCR 2006-00000-1, NCR 2006-00000-2, NCR 2006-00000-n, reflecting the number of units segregated until the total number of units authorized under the CPC is attained. Should there be remaining units with the First Party after segregation, the First Party may avail of this Voluntary Segregation after payment of corresponding fees and penalties. The first party who does not appear and avail of this Segregation Program, shall be banned from acquiring any other CPC of any denomination from the Board due to its violations of previously granted CPC(s).”

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith, and takes effect immediately.
