SUBMISSION OF CERTIFICATE OF ROADWORTHINESS
In order to properly implement the Order dated January 13 and 20, 2006 issued by Department of Transportation and Communications, enjoining the Board from implementing Department Order 2002-030 and Memorandum Circular 2005-058 dated December20, 2005, and for the benefit of the riding public, this Board is hereby directing all holder of Certificate of Public Convenience to Operate Public Utility Buses (PUB) with unit/s 15 years of age and above, to submit a Certification of roadworthiness to be issued by the Land Transportation Office, subject to the Motor Vehicle Inspection System (MVIS).
Failure to submit the required Certificate shall disallow the confirmation of the subject unit/s.
This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith, and takes effect April 1, 2006.
