(NAR) VOL. 6 NO. 3 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 1995

[ MTRCB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 94-36, December 21, 1994 ]

FILM PERMIT TO EXHIBIT

Effective immediately, all local and foreign film producers and distributors should provide each of their provincially-booked theaters with a certified true xerox copy of the film Permit to Exhibit in addition to the permit pasted in the film container. This extra copy is to be posted at the ticket sellers window as required by Presidential Decree No. 1986.

As of now, provincial theaters are hard put to obey the law since they are not provided with an extra copy of the permit for posting. The Board has however directed the theaters to post the "lata" with the permit posted thereon. This is not an ideal set-up from being unattractive.

Theater owners are therefore directed to make sure you have a certified true copy of the Permit to Exhibit of the movie you are showing for posting at the ticket counter.

Thank you for everybody's cooperation.

Adopted: 21 Dec. 1994
