NON-SHARING OF FOREIGN MOVIE CLASSIFICATION
It has come to our attention that some foreign films continue to carry the classification or rating given the movie by its mother country. This practice of showing the classification or rating at the end of the film must be stopped once and for all. It serves no purpose but confuse the Filipino audience.
IF ANY MOVIE WISHES TO CARRY THE CLASSIFICATION OR RATING OF THE FILM, ONLY THE RATING GIVEN BY THE MOVIE AND TELEVISION REVIEW AND CLASSIFICATION BOARD (MTRCB) CAN BE USED.
This circular shall take effect immediately.
