PROCESS OF APPLICATIONS FOR EXEMPTION



This is to inform you of the process of applications for Exemption from MTRCB Review.

1. A letter of request for Exemption from Review is addressed to the Chairman by the entity seeking the request.

2. We check if blocktimer/co-producer is registered with MTRCB.

3. If registered, the blocktimer/co-producer is asked to submit three (3) recent episodes of the program.

4. The Board reviews the submitted episodes. The blocktimer/co-producer continues to submit its program(s) for regular review.

5. If the Board approves the exemption request, a letter is sent to the owner of the program informing him of such approval and directing the payment of the exemption fee which is 50% of the regular review fees (see schedule of fees). All payments for Exemption from Review and renewals thereof must be done at the MTRCB Office.

6. Upon completion of payment, a letter of Exemption from Review with a fixed period is given. This letter of Exemption from Review serves as the Permit to Exhibit.
