[ POEA MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 42, S. 1995, June 26, 1995 ]

ISSUANCE OF ARTIST RECORD BOOK (ARB)



In connection with DOLE Department Order Nos. 3 and 3-A both series of 1994, effective June 26, 1995, all issuance of Artist Record Books (ARB) to all performing Artists who passed the academic and skills tests and issued Certificates of Competency by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), shall be approved and signed by the POEA Administrator, or in his absence by the duly designated POEA Officer-in-Charge, after review and initial by the Chief, Employment Branch or in his absence by the duly designated Officer-in-Charge.

Artist Record Books previously issued prior June 23, 1995 shall remain valid and shall be accepted by the Employment Contract Processing Branch and Labor Assistance Center in the approval of Performing Artist's employment contract and issuance of exit clearance.

An internal system and procedure shall be strictly followed by the Employment Branch in the preparation and issuance of the ARB and the responsible officials who shall initial the entries thereof.
