[ DPWH DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 39, S. 2010, August 12, 2010 ]
PROHIBITING THE ASSOCIATION CF THE PRESIDENT'S NAME AND IMAGE IN GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
In accordance with the instructions of the President during the 4th Cabinet Meeting held on 05 August 2010, all Heads of DPWH Implementing Offices are hereby instructed that the putting up of tarpaulins, billboards and other propaganda materials.bearing the President's name and image is strictly prohibited.
Corollary to this, all Heads of Implementing Offices are also directed to cause the removal of names and photos of personages in all DPWH project billboards, including those of completed and on-going DPWH projects. For future projects, the provisions of Item No. 5 of Department Order No. 37, dated 06 August 2010, are hereby reiterated that names and/or pictures of any personages, including Department Official's, should not appear in the billboards.
The concerned Undersecretaries for Operations shall monitor and report to the undersigned the compliance of all concerned with this Order.
