CLARIFICATION ON THE AMOUNT INVOLVED IN PRESCRIBING LIMITS OF AUTHORITIES UNDER D.O. NO. 55, S. 2010, AS AMENDED BY D.O. NO. 07, S. 2011
Department Order No. 55, series of 2010, as amended by D.O. No. 07, s. 2011, spells out, among others, the limits of authorities of key officials in the pre-procurement, procurement and implementation of locally-funded civil works projects.
It is hereby clarified that the amounts of projects for all activities, including the conduct of public bidding, mentioned in both Department Orders refer to the Allocation under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) and NOT the Estimated Project Cost or the Approved Budget for Contract (ABC).
This Order is deemed to have taken effect on the same dates D.O. No. 55 and D.O. No. 07 were issued. Any previous authority or clarification contrary to this Order is considered void from the beginning.
